- Passion
A recovery model built on dignity, connection, and practical support.
Built 4 This exists to support individuals in early recovery by providing practical tools, connection, and hope during one of the most vulnerable transitions in their lives.
The problem
Millions face isolation, life transitions, recovery challenges, and behavioral health struggles without meaningful community support.
Clinical therapy can be effective, but expensive and difficult to access.
Traditional support groups can be accessible, but often rigid and limited in dialogue.
Built 4 This bridges the gap.
Healing is not about fixing what is broken.
Our mission is to empower individuals in recovery with tools, resources, and reminders that they are capable, worthy, and built for the work ahead.
Our vision is a culture that understands healing is about supporting what is already capable, with progress measured in presence, stability, and continued engagement with life.

This work is personal.
I’m Adam Goldman, founder of Built 4 This Foundation, and this work is personal. I've been through treatment. I've experienced the hope that comes with discharge -- and the vulnerability that follows shortly after. I know first hand how quickly confidence can give way to uncertainty once structure disappears.
The phrase “Built 4 This” became a mantra for me during recovery. Not as a hype, but as a reminder that resilience isn't something you earn later -- it's something you already have, even when you can't feel it yet.
Personal journeys that inspire hope.
Hear how community, compassion, purpose and passion change lives.
“When I left treatment, I felt lost. Built 4 This matched me with peers who understood my story. The small group gave me accountability without judgment, and today I’ve rebuilt my life with purpose.”
“I thought I was broken. This community showed me I was built for this. The mantra helped me see that struggle is feedback, not failure. With practical tools and real connection, I’m moving forward with confidence.”
“As a family member, Built 4 This gave me language to support my loved one. The recovery kit and education resources made a world of difference.”
